Advanced Search

Advanced Search

Advanced Search allows search in specific fields and apply additional conditions.

Enter terms in the advanced search boxes.

Use synonyms or variations to expand the list of results.

Select the publication date range in the search.

There are more search options and conditions available in the lower section of the Advanced Search page.

In the drop-down menu next to the search boxes, the options that are available to search in specific parts of the documents may be found.

Search lists are available in Advanced Search for fields containing names or definitions. These allow the researcher to check the presence of a specific term and its correct spelling / format. In PQDT, search lists are available for subjects, authors, universities, advisors, etc.

After opening the related window, enter the term to be checked, click Search and the system will show in the part below all the terms in that field that start or contain the term provided. As many terms as are relevant may be selected and click Add to search.

Dissertations can also be easily accessed through the Explore function.

They can be explored by either general themes or by country of the issuing institution.
