When using Free Text Search, you can create your search title with Boolean operators.

On the Examples tab, you will find examples that match the search that you are carrying out and you can copy and paste the example into your Free Text Search box. Don't forget to change the terms used in the example to the terms you want to search for.

Searches can also incorporate field labels to refine and target the search results.

Punctuation marks and special characters require special consideration when using free text search strategies.

If you wish to search for papers and articles on soft skills used in Accounting/Consulting, follow the following steps:

  • Open the menu to find the publication that may be relevant under Select Source Category;
  • Select the appropriate category by clicking on the name (Accounting/Consulting): it will then appear in yellow;
  • Click on Search.

On the top bar, highlighted in yellow, by default you’ll find the search terms entered during the last three months. If you click on the MORE arrow, you’ll be shown other limiters.

Some filters can be found on the left (e.g., Companies, Sources, Subjects, Industries, Language, Authors, etc.). These can be used to refine the search results.

In the middle, you can find the results limited to all publications, albeit you can restrict your search to, for example: "Web News", "Blogs"....

On the right, you see the Search Summary, which you can easily hide.

You can always "Modify the Search".
